| Horse Leasing Program M-Bar-K Farms offers fun partial lease options on our gentle lesson horses. These programs will allow our students who do not own their own horses to enjoy some of the benefits without the huge commitment of purchasing, boarding and care. Riders leasing will be allowed first choice on their leased horse during horse shows and during their regular scheduled lessons. The practice rides included can be used to increase and strengthen the rider’s equitation skills, or just have fun riding the trails and property with some of our boarders. Lease Options: (Prices effective September 1, 2007) Package #1: One private or group lesson per week, with up to three one hour non-lesson rides per week. If lessons and riding time were purchased separately this would be a $580.00 value! M-Bar-K Farms accepts responsibility for cost of farrier, and veterinarian costs that are incurred by no fault of the rider. A minimum of 3 months is required for leasing, leasing for 3 months is only $380.00 per month. Leasing for 6 months or more is only $355.00 per month. Package #2: Two private or group lessons per week, with up to three one hour practice rides per week. This is a $800.00 value! A minimum of 3 months is required for leasing, leasing for 3 months is only $510.00 per month, leasing for 6 months or more is only $485.00 per month. Regulations of Leasing: Only the Rider leasing may ride the horse leased unless authorized by Lease Management. Jumping is not permitted at anytime unless you are in a lesson. Riders under l8 years old must have guardian present during non-lesson rides, or permission to ride without. Proper grooming, warm-up, cool down, and care of horses will be the responsibility of the rider. Rider’s neglecting or abusing regulations or our horses will forfeit riding privileges without refund. Riding time must be scheduled in advance and changes can only be made after authorization. All riding must be completed in the month leased, no refunds, or make-ups outside the lease month. If you cannot make up a lesson it may be substituted with a non lesson ride after authorization. All payments are due the 1st of each month regardless of actual lease dates. Lease must be accepted for a minimum of three months. 2 weeks notice to cancel lease must be given. If cancellation is made prior to the end of the 3 month lease the Lease Value will be calculated for the time actually leased. Prices subject to change without notice. |

If things don't work out and you find you don't have the time or financial resources to maintain your leased horse, he can go back to us at the end of the lease period. |
