Take a look below to see more photos of
our two-legged and four-legged students!
Lena W. age 8 and Kay
Kooyman getting 2 1/2 year
old Turbo ready for Lena's
lesson.
We have had people flat out
say that they don't believe that
we can use our two year olds
as lesson horses.  Lena might
disagree.  She has been using
Turbo as her lesson horse
every week for the past 5
months.
We decided to allow Lena to
use Turbo because he is so
careful with her.  Some
students need a horse that will
NOT act up one bit in order to
build their confidence.  He
listens and is careful, even out
on the trail and with other
horses around.
Kay gets Lena to relax by
having her close her eyes and
put her arms out to the side.
Turbo is not phased by this at
all.  He stays quiet and relaxed
Kay has done a great job with
Lena.  It was a big milestone
the first time Lena trotted
Turbo.  Here Lena is getting
him up to a trot again.  Ride
'em Cowgirl!
Lena grins from ear to ear!  It
has been a very good day with
Turbo and Kay!
Proper handling and training
with a loving and gentle hand.
M-Bar-K Farms is producing
some awesome
horses! If you
don't believe it, come out and
meet them yourselves!
